These dual purpose products, not only create a custom and safe place for your pet, but they are also the perfect furniture piece for your space often replacing your end tables, media cabinets, sideboard, or sofa tables. In addition this artisan offers custom reclaimed raised pet dining tables, and custom built pet daybeds in all sizes.

Carpentry Intern

Ginny Bins is a fast-growing custom pet furniture shop in Purcellville, VA. Combining quality and high-end woodworking techniques. We are seeking a Carpentry Intern with a detail-oriented personality that takes pride in quality work.

  • Ability to be precise and accurate

  • Confident in ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers involving fractions and decimals

  • Can safely operate a table saw, jointer, planer, miter saw, router table and other woodworking tools

  • Can work quickly and accurately to create custom wood pieces alone

  • Maintains a clean professional appearance

  • Ability to create jigs to preform woodworking tasks as needed

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret paperwork, labels and mathematical measurements including using a tape measure

  • Strong verbal and listening skills

  • Able to provide high level of customer service

  • Experience with common hand and power tools

  • Effectively communicate with leadership of any issues with material and/or mechanical breakdowns

  • Detail Oriented in quality checking every piece of material

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

  • Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the woodworking trades. Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards.
